When you analyze a screenshot, we first run an on-device privacy scrub on your phone or browser: OCR and pattern matching look for emails, @handles, phone numbers, and common social links, then blur those regions using the same technique as our manual blur tool. Only the scrubbed image is sent to our servers for AI analysis. Pasted chat text is redacted with similar rules before upload. Scrubbing reduces accidental PII exposure but cannot catch everything — use the blur tool for anything you want hidden manually.

For most guest use, screenshots are processed to generate your analysis and are not stored as image files on our servers after the request completes. A short-lived copy may sit in your browser session storage so you can move between result and reply screens. If you sign in on a Plus or Max plan, you may optionally save analysis summaries to cloud history (text results, not raw image files) for 7 or 30 days — you can delete individual items from the History page. We do not sell your chats or use them to train public models.

Scrubbed screenshots or redacted pasted text are sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our backend, which calls Google Gemini to read the conversation and return structured feedback (scores, flags, reply ideas, etc.). Google processes content as our AI sub-processor solely to provide that feature. We do not sell or repurpose your chats for advertising.

Sign-in is optional. If you create an account, we store your email and plan tier in our database (Supabase) to sync usage limits, cloud history, promo codes, and referrals. You can sign out any time from Account.

When on, your last 20 analyses are saved in this browser only by default. Signed-in Plus/Max users may also see a Cloud tab on the History page for server-stored summaries (retention limits apply). "Clear my data" wipes local copies instantly.

We collect privacy-oriented usage analytics (page views, feature use, limits hit) tied to an anonymous device id — not the text of your chats. Our servers may record country and city inferred from your network connection, a hashed IP fingerprint for abuse prevention, browser language, timezone, and device type. We do not use GPS or request contact-book access. The contact form on our site may collect name, email, optional phone, and message if you choose to reach us.

Use Clear my data below to wipe local app data on this device (history, cached screenshots, preferences, anonymous analytics id). That does not delete a signed-in account or cloud history — delete cloud items in History or email us. Tap Analyze another chat on the result screen to drop the in-session screenshot. For any other removal request, email support@businesscrust.com and we will respond within 30 days.
